Being built on a 73 thousand square meter area in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone (MOSB) by Schneider Electric, the giant facility has been opened with a ceremony, attended by Taner Yıldız, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.
A small bazaar, where organic products produced in Manisa were sold, was established in the factory site within the context of the ceremony, performed by protecting the environmentalist manipulations. Foundations of the factory, designed as an environment friendly, were laid in the year 2009. Schneider Electric CEO Jean Pascal Tricoire, local directors, representatives of the business world and vendors attended the opening of the factory, which will spend 30 percent less energy compared with its similar. The investment amount of the factory, for which 15 million euro was spent at the first step, will be increased depending upon the growth rate every year. |
