100 Million Euro Investment from Siemens To Turkey |

Companies that foresaw the crisis continue to invest without slowing down despite the economic recession. Siemens, one of the biggest companies that provide technology, inaugurated officially the company's new production facility in Gebze Industrial Zone, with an investment that will reach 100 million euros. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hilmi Gürel expressed in his speech in the ceremony: "CEO's should not only use the wind turbines but produce them in Turkey."
In his speech, Siemens AG Energy Sector CEO Wolfgang Dehen pointed out to the fact that there are fascinating developments in the field of energy technology and stated: "Facilitating energy that is clean, efficient, sustainable and affordable, our new plant in Gebze will make an important contribution to the future. "It is indicated that the new facility stands as a candidate for obtaining the first green building certificate (LEED Gold) of Turkey. 25 % energy saving is targeted as an outcome of the investment that will be performed in two phases. The plant will save significant energy cost as a result of efficient usage of natural resources. Highly efficient, technological and innovative systems are used in applications such as lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation. Similarly, 50 % water will be saved in buildings with usage of batteries with sensors and collection and revaluation of rain water. Source: www.haberturk.com |
